Before you write

The fastest answers are already on the page: the FAQ covers DPI measurement basics, and the accuracy notes explain what can skew a reading (OS pointer acceleration, distance error, curved swipes). If your result looks wrong, the diagnostics panel — counts, alignment, spread and active input mode — usually says why.

What to send

• Browser and OS — e.g. Firefox 142 on Windows 11.
• Mouse model — and the DPI the driver claims.
• Distance used — and how you measured it (ruler, card width, marks).
• Run results — counts, alignment and spread from the diagnostics panel.
• What you expected — versus what the tool reported.
